Alan Johnston Jr, PE, a third-generation engineer and native Houstonian with an interest in serving his community, founded Johnston in 2001. He has a true passion for helping solve client’s problems and being a true partner in addressing their needs. His entrepreneurial spirit and transparent leadership have continued the success of the firm for the past 20 years.

“Excitement is the feeling I get every Sunday about 2pm gearing up for the coming week. It is very satisfying, and I am very fortunate to be a part of a team that serves as trusted consultants to our expanding client base. Growing up around the A/E business, in addition to being a third-generation engineer, may have something to do with it, but for as long as I can remember, I have wanted to do exactly what I am doing today.
